  1. Is the vacuum plating durable?
Yes, If used for decorative indoor purposes, a vacuum plated part can look good for at least five years maybe more.

  2. How thick is the plating?
The Vacuum plating is an application of 0.03 millions of Aluminum on a surface protected by a coat of Lacquer so very thin, but durable for the lacquer is cooked prior to the vacuum plating process.

  3. Is the plating smooth as chrome on metal?
Our process does not cover imperfections, so if the part is clean and smooth, it will still be after plating.

  4. Why is there dust on your parts?
We admit that the vacuum process is not a dust free operation. We are still trying to find a way of getting all parts free of dust, but aside from that fact we still try to offer our best quality plating to all our customers.

  5. Can you plate parts that have been previously painted?
If the parts have been stripped and polished, we can.
